After reading a scroll on a jutsu technique called 'shrinking jutsu', Himawari knew she had to try it out to see if it really worked. She rushed home and immediately used the jutsu on her unsuspecting parents, instantly shrinking them both to the size of bugs. Naruto and Hinata were caught completely off guard as one minute they are standing in the living room, and the next looking up to see their enormous daughter looming over them. They were especially horrified when Himawari kicked her shoes off and sat down, encircling the two with her huge feet. The giant girl told her parents that her poor feet were tired and aching from running so much and if they gave her a good foot massage, she would grow them back. Seeing no other options, Naruto and Hinata walked to their daughter's upturned feet and began rubbing their tiny hands up and down what parts of the soles they could reach. Himawari giggled at the sight of her shrunken parents massaging her massive feet as she hovered her face over her feet, making sure that the tiny pair didn't try and run away. The girl was having so much fun, she conveniently forgot to tell the two that the jutsu was irreversible.
