The Mid Game Finale of my campaign takes the players to Sand Island under Rena's direction to become Elites. In normal DnD, the level cap is 20. In my campaign, I'm raising it to 30. There's a few reasons for this. Mainly I want my players to be able to specialize and personalize their characters further than the normal DnD mechanics allow. It'll help them a lot in the Late Game because I plan on being a merciless asshat and sending hella scary things at them. As I should. Anyway.
Rena will bring the party to Sand Island off Osea's west coast. It's an Osean base for training military recruits and Elites alike. Rena has been multiple times and has connections there so it was an easy choice. After being introduced to their new surroundings and spending a few hours in the water for their first exercise, Rena takes them back to the CP where their lectures and written tests will be happening. There will be a crowd around it. Inside their room, Hrim is hanging out with Major Dyan, a celebrity in her own right. Once they all say hi, Leena will show up a tad late.
Rena asked the three to come to help train the players as extra instructors alongside her. Major Dyan is helping with their individual growth as Elites and figuring out a solid specialization for them to get into. Personal goals and stuff on a one on one level. Leena is helping them work on ranged attacks, self defense, and survival. Hrim will be focusing on melee combat and training the player's to be as mentally sharp as her and Scin are. They won't make it that far but she'll give them tons of solid advice and ways to improve themselves and their fighting.
Regarding their new teacher, Mrs. Faxi, there's one rule they should already be familiar with from spending time with Scin previously: Don't f**k with the Faxis. She will make it very clear early on that anyone who wants to push their luck while she's going out of her way to help them, will regret it. There will be no class clowns. If she is instructing them, they are going to listen. Or she'll have a bit of fun and keep teaching them how sand tastes until they learn to behave.
The usual Faxi flare aside, Hrim is going to enjoy her time on Sand Island. The Faxi twins are both well beyond Elite status, so this is a walk in the park for her. She's actually excited to get to spend some more personal time with the group because up to this point she's only been around a handful of times. Getting to work side by side with Major Dyan is also a bit of a plus. Things are a little bit tense because of the politics surrounding Hrim living in and working for Aurelia, and an Osean officer being in arms reach of her, but it stays that, politics. The two waste no time getting a feel for each other and it only takes one quick bout before they reach a mutual understanding.
Hrim and Scin are twins based off Talulah from AK. The easiest to notice difference between the two is Hrim lacking the long orange tapers Scin has. Enjoy Hrim Sensei.
