Scin - Flower Girl (Novel AI)
I think I need to start this one with a disclaimer. I have nothing to do with Arknights, Hypergryph, or Yostar. I'm not claiming anything from them, or using their names and logos for profit. The reason I'm adding that is because NAI decided to get a little cheeky and roughly watermarked all of the game's logos to one pic. The third last one. Issue is, I love the pic and didn't want to skip or delete it. So discount AK Dev logos aside...
Today we have another Scin post. Scin is based off Talulah, arguably my favorite character from AK. As the story goes, Scin volunteers to help Leena and Indigo with their outfits for their wedding. If you actually read everything I post, you're well aware Scin is a workaholic with a tendency to do way too much and hates being told to chill out. Just like with Rena and her dress before the Ceremony in Oured, Scin wastes no time getting to work. The night they find out about the wedding and Scin agrees to help, is the same night the massive political shift in Gracemeria happens. Scin and Rena have been with Flyuger all day passing information back and forth between the various parties. They've barely eaten anything all day and are exhausted. But Scin jumps straight into an all nighter and finishes Leena's relatively simple Tux by 8 AM. She then passes out.
Waking up in the evening, she again goes right back to it, and starts on Indigo's dress. Since it's a lot more intricate, it takes her 2 full days to get it done, again pulling an all nighter. The issue after that is getting clothes for everyone else. They want Red in the wedding, Flaxen too, since Scin is doing so much for them and Indigo loves her they want her involved, and they want Rena to be a part of it since she's the one who convinced Scin to come to Alma and they love her anyway. Irena will also be there, and Rena would like her to join in as well so she can be included because she loves weddings.
Scin has been working non stop for 3 days. There's another 3 or 4 left until the wedding and still Red's, Rena's, Irena's, Flaxen's, and her own dress to make. A few people will question why she doesn't go to Gracemeria and order the dresses. She'll give them a rant about proper materials, getting the right colors, the exorbitant price of getting things expedited, and the fact that she volunteered to help so she is going to handle it. Some of the locals will see how hard she's working, and will step in to back her up. She's very hesitant at first, but is brought around with some help from Irena, who helps put it all into perspective for her. Just like she wanted to help Indigo and Leena, they want to help her. The Alman clothing makers are very skilled, and after a bit of showing that, Scin lets them help. They finish in 2 days, giving them another full 2 days to make sure everything fits everyone perfectly.
Scin is then brought in as a Flower Girl, alongside Rena, for the wedding. Even Scin can't help but smile for the occasion. Enjoy some wholesome Scin.
