Character Background:

As a native from one of the less developed cities in the republic of St. Shurrelle, Jexira had always wanted to go and study to the big city of Calgria. At the beginning it was nothing more than a dream, but when it was discovered that she was an Essence user during her evaluation she was able to go and get training in the big city.

After graduating from the Essence Technical College in Calgria, Jezira got the offer of a lifetime, work for the Tower as one of the junior Essence Artificers.

The Tower is one of the most prestigious institutions in the continent of Alizthea. Jezira had submitted an application in her last year of schooling without expecting much, but then she got accepted.

This changed the path that she thought her life would take. As an Essentialist with an earth affinity, she could inscribe rune paths on materials, a skill that was essential for any prospecting artificer to have.

She had thought that her future would be just to work in one of the factories producing trinkets for the rich, but when she obtained her letter of acceptance into Calgria’s Tower branch, she jumped at the chance.

The hours were grueling, the work overwhelming, her boss a beast from damnation itself, but she loved her job. Day after day she worked on creating artifacts and exploring technology lost to the age pre-cataclysm.

One day, while performing her daily tasks, she found Melissandrei Ouruda, a prodigy researcher of the Tower, passed out in her lab due to lack of food and rest.

After calling the healers and learning that it had been nothing more than basic food and rest what she needed a fast friendship was developed between the two of them.

Then not even a year later, this friendship turned into something more, and a romantic relationship was started between the two.
