KPTU (K.S.P.D Police Tactical Unit) is a specialized branch under KSPD established to handle security incidents beyond conventional policing capacities in Kivotos. Created through KSPD's independent resource allocation amid rising supernatural phenomena and violent crimes, this paramilitary anti-riot unit operates with full logistical support from Schale since its formal inception.
Though vital as grassroots security, this unit, which should theoretically be highly specialized, is actually composed of ordinary KSPD students with riot control experience from high-risk districts, due to the limited manpower and material resources. Operators typically deploy with lightweight body armor and police-grade weaponry - more mobile than school disciplinary committees yet effective against routine threats. Operational statistics, however, reveal grim reality: KPTU maintains Kivotos' highest casualty rates since establishment, Many students have to transfer school because of their injury. This sparked General Student Council debates until pragmatic consensus prevailed - KPTU's frontline presence crucially contains crises before escalation and stalls disasters until reinforcements arrive.
A slogan encapsulates their resolve: "We hold the line until SRT arrives or our halos fade." These justice-driven girls leverage unparalleled urban terrain knowledge to combat threats across Kivotos' concrete labyrinth, fight against all those who dare to disrupt their daily lives.
(And, it seems that for some weird reason, most of these students are left-handed.)
