Luna vs. D'Lala - Round 2
Continued from Round 1...
After a few painstakingly lengthy minutes...
*DING!*
The first round ends with Luna and D'Lala none the worse for wear, but sweating from the intense scuffle. For a few fleeting moments, the fighters took a breather and began strategizing their next moves.
LUNA: 'She's... she's really tough... and she feels... ice cold. Something isn't... right. Muuuuu... I need to... target her glasses...'
The bunny girl's ears were on high alert due to the tanuki's unnerving presence, sensing the chill in the air. They have been useful in detecting D'Lala's attacks in order to dodge them, but Luna's arm still stung from the previous round, limiting her counterattacks.
D'LALA: 'That little bunny's quick, but I think I can put enough pressure on her to make her slip up. Hyeh... all I need to do is lure her in.'
The tanuki was relying on her craftiness for the next round, her ears occasionally twitching from the adrenaline rush. She knew her otherworldly presence was spooking the bunny, and she was going to exploit that weakness for all it's worth!
*DING!*
Round 2 starts off with a brief exchange of punches, neither combatant willing to give an inch. Slowly, but surely however, D'Lala was putting the squeeze on Luna, pushing her closer to the corner! Her height and reach were a huge advantage, and her brick-like abs shrugged off any punches that landed on her.
Before long, the encroaching tanuki's presence was chilling Luna down to the bone, and she had to go for broke to push D'Lala off of her! She starts revving up her arms to unleash a recent technique she picked up!
LUNA: "S-STAY AWAY!! C-C-COSMIC☆BLITZ!!"
The poor bunny stutters out her attack in desperation and starts pummeling D'Lala with a barrage of rapid-fire punches! Dazzling stars accompanied each punch, with Luna now throwing out so many punches, that her arms were a blur!
However, while her technique could overwhelm lesser opponents, D'Lala was a different story. The tanuki smirks and raises her black gloves up to defend herself from the bunny's assault, easily absorbing any stray shots from the lightning-quick, but weak punches!
D'LALA: 'That's right, little bunny... Come closer!!'
Her plan to lure Luna into range went off without a hitch. The bunny was quick to attack, but was throwing blind punches, shutting her eyes in fear! The punches didn't do much damage, so the tanuki calculates her risk accordingly.
D'Lala keeps using her right arm to protect herself from Luna's technique, while she slowly prepares to strike the bunny in a critical area. Luna unwittingly left herself vulnerable, as the tanuki uses her natural southpaw stance to deliver a crucial strike!
