The similarity between Shantae and Nessa are that they are both slender, blueish eyes, long hair, nice body, and most important, a great looking midriff.
I thought of this when I saw Shantae in Nessa's uniform, so I went with the vice versa. You can see the new hair technique being used here rather than the individual strokes. I usually remove the navel outline after the finished product, but I left it in as it shows the navel shape better.
When it came to drawing with and without the pants section, I simply used a different folder with the line art and the base color.
I put in a thumbnail as the first image since if someone was looking for art, they wouldn't be able to see her midriff before clicking the artwork.
