A late birthday gift for a friend known as Toki, Happy Birthday, Toki!
Our last story ended with a rowdy celestial becoming nothing more than a pufferfish becoming the size of her ego. However, with the wap of her tail, the cursed fruit that transmogged the celestial fell from Heaven and plummeted down. After a few hours-long fall, the cursed fruit was gaining momentum and soon would fall onto a boulder, violently ricocheting off it and into a mutated forest. In this forest was a Rokurokubi named Sekibanki who was keeping to herself, reading a novel. When all of a sudden, the cursed fruit smacked her in the back of the head, and because of all the gained momentum and the fruit's sharp spines, Sekibanki was stabbed right through her skull and punctured in the brain.
With brain damage in tow, it didn't take long for the fruit's curse to begin on poor Sekibanki, but because of the brain puncture, she was too frazzled to understand what was happening. The skin on her cheeks tore into gills, frills stabbed through her forehead and around her neck, and her teeth fell out with sharper ones growing in their place. Not to mention, the back of Sekibanki's head was bleeding. A large tail would then burst through her tailbone, and orange scales began to pop out of her pores. Sekibanki's middle finger would retract into her palm, and webbing would grow and connect from between her fingers.
And of course, as happened to the celestial's body, Sekibanki's midsection began to expand outwards, growing ever so bigger and rounder. As she grew larger, dagger-sharp spines began to poke their way out of Sekibanki's skin around her belly. With such a big, wobbly body, Sekibanki's legs couldn't uphold the weight, and she collapsed on her bum and started leaning backwards. Her head popped out from its socket and rolled down her ballooned body, landing in the lake nearby. As Sekibanki's head floats in the lake, it bumps into the tailfin of a friend, a mermaid named Wakasagihime, who, despite the transmogrification, recognized her friend. Meanwhile, over yonder, a wolf named Kagerou was looking in a nearby bush where the culprit of Sekibanki's transmogging was, the same cursed fruit. Luckily, Kagerou noticed the spines and had a basket with her to carry the fruit.
As Kagerou stared at the fruit and Wakasagihime stared at Sekibanki's fish head, the sky darkened a bit, and upon both turning around, the two friends saw the huge and rotund body of Sekibanki, the body of which had rolled down into the lake as well and was just passively floating. Wakasagihime didn't react much and just picked up her friend's head, who was still dizzy from the impact. Kagerou, on the other hand, was shocked to see such a large display, pun intended, as a small bit of blush appeared on her face.
All I can wonder is how Sekibanki is going to react once she wakes up from her stupor; maybe a visit to Eientei may be in order. But what becomes of the fruit now that Kagerou has it?
