Oh! Pardon any confusion: However long you have been here, it's been in the image of a classical woman your very mind fancied, brought to life and then sealed within this very canvas via my magic. Such a lovely expression, befitting a lovely face... Though, one I regrettably do not recognize. She—you—have a remarkably vibrant royal blue ensemble, from a fashion sense that teeters between 1920's and Edwardian sensibilites. A shame about that hair, though, really. Tragic.
Under standard circumstances, this would be the part where I re-animate you and give you your just deserts by way of some sorely needed schooling: A full thorough treatise in ladylike etiquette, thorough disciplinary therapy, and a reinvention as a refined young woman under my charge.
There is, however and firstly, the potential matter of your sanity. In another time, you would have been out of the painting and under my thumb in no more than 48 hours. However, after potentially years in this trap, your mental status will require further tending to...assuming you are even still viable as a lady.
That, and I require ample time to restore this mansion to its previous splendor. As tempting as it is to conscript such a charming visage for a new handmaid...
But how about that: Just when I had thought this era had lost all respect for the classical beauty, you show up and surprise me with someone new. I shall consult my books of record to try and identify you. Or perhaps you are one of those women on film?
