This is Subaru from the dot hack series, mainly from dot hack link and my OC, a Twin Blader named Taka. I am probably going to get some objections to the pairing so let me explain. I know that Subaru and Tsukasa are canon and I accept that. The anime and the development of their relationship is very well done and I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea of me hating the couple. This cover came from the idea of how the affection meter is quite useless in the game, .hack link, so I wrote a oneshot where a male player character falls unconscious during battle only to wake up to find Subaru caring for him. As he grows more attached to her, he starts wondering if this is reality or not, even in the game world. Sorry that the mark on Subaru's forehead is not the same. I only noticed this after I got home. Enjoy the art, nonetheless. My fanfic is probably not as good as the image though.
